Tourette Syndrome
Reading & Learning PATHWAYS specialzes in the administration of interactive computer based software for a varity of conditions that impact a student's reading and learning ability. There is little research to support that these programs specifically address the neurological processes of people living with Tourette's, however, our personal experience with one student with mild Tourette's was that both his vocal and physical tics became significantly reduced within several months of using our programs. There appeared to be a direct correlation with the student's tic reduction, increased confidence and enhanced cognitive skills. We offer a safe environment where all students are given the support and opportunity to reach their maximum academic potential.
